Stories -The Golden Touch

There used to be a ruler named Midas who carried out something beneficial for a Satyr. What's more, he was then, at that point, in truth a wish by Dionysus, the lord of wine.

For his desire, Midas asked that anything he contacted would go to gold. Regardless of Dionysus' endeavors to forestall it, Midas argued that this was an incredible wish, thus, it was presented.

Amped up for his recently acquired powers, Midas began contacting a wide range of things, transforming every thing into unadulterated gold.

Yet, soon, Midas became ravenous. As he got a piece of food, he found he was unable to eat it. It had gone to gold in his grasp.

Hungry, Midas moaned, "I'll starve! Maybe this was not a particularly brilliant wish all things considered!"

Seeing his consternation, Midas' darling little girl tossed her arms around him to comfort him, and she, as well, went to gold. "The brilliant touch is no gift," Midas cried.
